With holiday season in full swing, I thought it'd be nice to share my picks for great gifts for those men in your lives. The gifts range from about $11 to $499, so you're bound to find something right in your price point, whatever it may be!
Black Friday has come and gone, but have no fear! It’s time for BF’s little sibling to do its thang…that’s right, folks, it’s Cyber Monday.
That’s right, y’all, that magical day of magnificent deals is finally here, good ol’ Black Friday.
Oh, what was that? You were looking for some sweet sales to help with those post turkey blues? Well, you’re in luck, ‘cause we have a whole cornucopia of discounts that are going to knock the stuffing right out of ya…check it!
It’s that time of the week! That time where no one else has any really good ideas for the blog so they let me take over for the day and talk about streets. And this week, I packed up my imaginary panniers and rode my city bike up north to the cold, cold, coldness that is Wisconsin.
Alright, we’re only days away from the Marathon Crash Race and we’re getting pretty pumped. We’ve been going on a few training rides and setting our alarms extra early to be ready for this bad boy.
We all know there’s about nothing as attractive as a cute girl on a beautiful bike. But did you know there’s nothing as safe as a girl on a bike either?
Confused? Good, I did that so that you’d want to keep reading. You just got teasered!
Wolfpack Hustle has an amazing 3-race series set up for this year, and we're pretty pumped for the first one, the Marathon Crash Race. Hitting the streets at 4:30 a.m., right when they start closing off the streets, the course runs the route of the LA Marathon. It's going to be crazy and we're all going to be there with swag and a bunch of goodies for anyone on a Pure Fix!
While playing around on the internet for work (yes, my job is awesome) I stumbled upon some sweet fixie inspired furnishings. I thought I’d take the opportunity to show off some of the fixie furniture we have around the office here.
Yesterday, we had our second excursion to the velodrome. Well, technically, it was our third, but last Monday we got there just as they were turning off the lights…so I’m not gonna count that one.
I get people asking me all the time for bike basket recommendations, something that is good looking, strong, and can work on our Pure Fix bikes. So when Jordan passed this on to me, I had to pass it on to all of you.
So, for those of you who don’t already know, we love our espresso here in the office. Personally, I go through about 2 to 3 cups a day, unless it’s a Monday, then I just stop counting.
Good news is, not only does it keep me away from the land of dreams (where Beyoncé shares a room with Katy Perry in a mansion made of puppies), apparently a study has been done proving it actually helps boost recovery time for cyclists.
This weekend was filled with a lot of riding and a big first for a lot of us here at the office, our first time on a velodrome.
After meeting up at the Metro in NoHo, Jordan, Mike, and I all took the bike path out to the Encino Velodrome.
Hop in a giant, helium-filled balloon...go to space...jump. Break three world records and the speed of sound. Land safely back on Earth. Yep, it’s about as crazy as it sounds, and one dude was crazy enough to do it!
